Learn essential first aid and CPR skills with our wide range of courses to meet every need. Courses are delivered in easy-to-follow steps, using practical hands-on components and a variety of training materials. 

All first aid courses include CPR and AED training. They meet the standards for Workplace First Aid Certification requirements. 

Certification is through the Canadian Red Cross Society and valid for 3yrs from date of issue.

 Develop more comprehensive first aid and CPR skills aimed at professional first responders or those training to become first responders. 

Be engaged in dynamic training techniques including media presentations, skills demonstrations, practice sessions, discussions and scenarios based on real-life situations.  Courses may include casualty simulation to aid in scenarios.

All professional responder courses include BLS training. They  follow the National Occupational Competency Profiles (NOCP) as defined by the Paramedic Association of Canada  and meet Workplace First Aid Certification requirements.

Certification is through the Canadian Red Cross and valid between 1-3yrs depending on course.

Learn specific first aid and CPR techniques needed when 911/EMS is delayed or non-existent. Learn extended care and evacuation techniques needed by those who  live, work, travel and respond to emergencies in isolated, remote or wilderness settings. 

Each course covers all material in Standard First Aid & CPR, plus advanced strategies for providing extended care for more than 24 hours. 

Part of each course is taught in an outdoor setting and requires greater physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training. Suitable .

Psychological First Aid is for everyone. 

We all have strengths and abilities to cope with life’s ups and downs, however, everyone can be vulnerable under stress or in a crisis situation.

Psychological First Aid is a resiliency building wellness program that equips

individuals in supporting themselves and others to cope with the effects of stress,

loss, trauma and grief.

 Become an Instructor for the Canadian Red Cross First Aid Programs. Learn how to teach and deliver learner-centered first aid, professional responder and wilderness first aid programs.

Already certified with another agency or a certified  Teacher ? Transfer options help streamline the process taking your prior education into account.

 Instructor recertification clinics are also available. 

 Specialty training  is available in advanced trauma  and cold water / hypothermia topics.
